High-touch areas like light switches, door handles, and more need a little bit more attention. We sterilize high-use surfaces to ensure bacteria is taken care of.

High-touch sterilization focuses specifically on the disinfection of frequently touched surfaces in your building. This includes surfaces like doorknobs, light switches, elevator buttons, handrails and countertops. High-touch sterilization is particularly important in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and other viral outbreaks, as viruses can survive on surfaces for extended periods of time. The goal of high-touch sterilization is to reduce the risk of transmission of infectious diseases, creating a safe and healthy environment for everyone in the facility.

What’s included?

We'll use a combination of different methods to sterilize and disinfect high-use areas. Some methods are used only upon request and not all methods are used for every situation. Here are some examples of sterilization we can do:

Disinfectant sprays: Disinfectant sprays are a popular method for sterilizing high-touch areas. These sprays are designed to kill bacteria and viruses on contact, and can be applied to a variety of surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and countertops.

UV-C Light: UV-C light is a type of ultraviolet light that is effective at killing bacteria and viruses. Commercial cleaning crews may use portable UV-C light devices to sterilize high-touch areas. The devices are passed over surfaces for a specified amount of time to kill any bacteria or viruses present.

Electrostatic spraying: Electrostatic spraying is a relatively new method for sterilizing high-touch areas. This process involves applying a charged mist of disinfectant to surfaces. The charged particles wrap around the surface, providing complete coverage and ensuring that all bacteria and viruses are killed.

Wiping with disinfectant: Wiping high-touch areas with a disinfectant-soaked cloth is another effective method for sterilizing surfaces. This method is particularly useful for surfaces that cannot be sprayed, such as computer keyboards and touchscreens.

Steam cleaning: Steam cleaning is an effective method for sterilizing surfaces without using chemicals. High-pressure steam is used to kill bacteria and viruses on contact. This method is particularly useful for surfaces like upholstery and carpets.
